Another confession....
I am also a gamer (PS3 and Wii). My current video game of choice is Batman: Arkham City. This explains why I am not caught up on all of my TV shows. I stay up after the fam has gone to bed, watch a show (or two) and think, "I'm too tired to watch anything else....BUT I can play for a FEW minutes." A few minutes inevitably turns into an hour or more. Now, I find myself cursing Batman for keeping me up too late. Just one more trophy....just one more riddle to solve. I think I have a mere 224/400 trophies/secrets and I think I'm pretty close to being done with the game. I guess I'm not a hard core gamer since I truly have no intention of finding all 400. Either way....I am a nerd and I love it!

Reality shows
The Bachelor: The Women Tell All - 2 hours of my life I'll never get back. I heard that some of the tabloids have spilled the beans at who 'won' this season (which I have avoided along with all previews)...which brings me to: why was Courtney on the Women Tell All? To defend herself? Obviously, EVERYTHING she said was rehearsed and probably written for her. Nothing seemed sincere. Did ABC want to have her on because she DID win....or because Lindzie did and they are trying to throw the viewers off? Honestly....if she DID win, why bother coming on the WTA show? She could explain herself on the 'After the Final Rose' episode....and really at that point she could have told all the other girls to screw themselves! Oh and Shawntell from Brad's season....I have the feeling she told Ben in secret "when this doesn't work out for you, call me!'
Survivor One World - I seriously despise this season! If I wasn't in a fantasy survivor league, I'd not watch at all (yes, fantasy survivor). (spoiler alert) Seriously though....the men WIN immunity and they all vote to go to tribal??? You KNOW one of you is going home, right? Lief and Bill already had targets on their backs...why not say 'oh hell no, we aren't going to tribal council voluntarily!" Colton is so annoying. I wish the guys would have manned up and got rid of him! Why is he so 'powerful'? What a lame group of guys. And the girls are just as annoying! Kat and Alicia in particular. Actually if the two of them left...they'd be an ok tribe. Looks like the may be mixing up the tribes next week? IDK....
Amazing Race - I watch too much tv...I can't remember who went home? The Twin Brothers? Yeah I think so....watermelons vs. stringing a harp. I would have went with harp (although the brothers did too). It's not a season with Brechel unless she's crying about something...and frequently! Although, divorced couple girl was pretty mean to her.
Top Chef - I was glad to see that Paul won. Those girls were just mean to Beverly!
The Voice - I think it's the battle rounds this week....maybe I should clear off the 10 hours of the Voice I haven't watched from my dvr! I'll just start with this week's show. Granted I won't like or dislike anyone in particular...but at this point I know I won't watch all the episodes.
American Idol - Oh, is this show still on? I don't miss watching this. Too many hours per week to watch...and almost always the wrong person wins.

Network TV
Dear TV Networks,
What's your problem? Why can't you just air a show in consecutive weeks? Why must you air one show, break for a week (or month) and come back with another episode? Better yet....why do you cancel shows after changing which nights they are on and when their season starts? I'll never understand how you wait almost a year in between seasons, then you blame lower viewership for low ratings and cancel a show. There is so much crap tv on nowadays. Why is it that when something new and different comes around....you don't even give it a chance? I fear for the future of Touch and Alcatraz (among a few others). Keep the GOOD shows and cancel the crappy ones!!

Randomness
I gotta say....I gave up FB for Lent, so maybe I will start to blog a little more than once every two years! =0 But what to write about? More TV? Ok....
The Bachelor - Ben is going to choose Courtney! I picked Lindzie from the beginning, but which Bachelor actually gets it right anyway? I mean even Whatshisface selected Emily and they couldn't make it work....that would be why she's going to be the next Bachelorette! I know they edit to make the villains....but some of the stuff that girl (Courtney) says is ridiculous. Winning!
Survivor One World - I'm so over the men vs women! I would HATE to be in this all women tribe. They SUCK!!! Although I give whatsherface props for making a comeback win for immunity. I honestly find myself fast forwarding after the immunity challenge til the vote cuz I don't really care about this season. Go back to mixing up the tribes CBS!
Amazing Race - Brechel again? Oye! Why do I find myself cheering these two on whether it's on BB or AR? Guess cuz they are the 'underdog'. Rachel seriously though....thought you were supposed to be good at math?
The Voice - I really like....but have only watched the first epi that was on after the Superbowl. 2hour long shows are too hard for me watch in one sitting. My limit is the Bachelor/ette. And that's because a long time ago my SIL her mom and sister got me hooked!
New Shows:
Alcatraz - Love that it's set in SF of course. Love to see Hurley in a new show. It's new, different and interesting....and from JJ Abrams. Must mean it'll be canceled soon :(
Touch - Only one show in...but I LOVED this one!!! Especially with one of the first lines being 'Damnit Jack!' from Kiefer. I miss 24! This is another different and interesting show....likely to be canceled I'm sure because networks don't think people can handle different.
Suburgatory - FUNNY! Good cast. The lead girl reminds me of Emma Stone.
Up All Night - Took a few epis for me to like, but this show is freaking hilarious! Great cast and sometimes strangely mimics my life! LOL
Awake - this one starts tonight but looks good!!!
Once Upon a Time - Granted I am still two epis behind....but I like it. The Evil Queen is played by the same actress that was in the one season only canceled summer show 'Swingtown'
The Firm - I don't really remember the movie, but I like the show. The fact that it got moved to SATURDAYS is a horrible sign. Nice to see Juliette Lewis in something. Also, another Swingtown Alum in this one. She was also in last season of Dexter.
House of Lies - Don Cheadle and Veronica Mars herself, Kristen Bell. Enough said. (HILARIOUS!!! Raunchy!)
Homeland - Wow! Good stuff! Claire Danes was awesome and I predicted she'd get an Emmy/ Golden Globe. One down one to go!
Revenge - Might be my favorite new show!! Great show. Great cast! Haven't watched last night's episode yet...but the last one (Fire and Ice) was SO GOOD!! It'll be interesting to see where it goes after this season.
The Killing Who killed Rosie Larsen? Hard to watch in parts, but a really good show! Season 2 starts in one month. Let's hope Season 2 ends better than Season 1! "Yo Linden!"
The Lying Game - Why do I watch ABC Family? Between this and Pretty Little Liars, I get my fill of teenage drama that makes no sense but it's good! So ridiculously ridiculous but they keep me watching. Sutton vs. Emma. Speaking of twins ...
Ringer - Siobhan vs Bridget. I'm not sure if this show will last...I'm a mere 4 epis behind, so I can't really comment, but I do like SMG!
